Oahu Living At It’s Finest!!!

Open the doors and let the sound of the ocean sooth your soul Hawaiian Style. I love barbquing on the covered lanai, friends playing cards, the music playing, the rain doing it’s thing. While we are warm and dry enjoying the view and waiting for the rainbow to arrive. On sunnier days, I love taking the kayaks out and heading for Laenani Neighborhood park where I can watch a basketball game, enjoy a glass of wine or take a walk around the park. There’s a boat ramp to pull up at and friendly noises all around. Matson Point is a quiet lovely place to live, the sunrise side has the clearest water for swimming, sunset side has the fishing. The tip of the peninsula has it’s own charms, and history; there’s a tiny anchor island for the old ships that used to come in for the pineapples and sugar cane delivered by the train that ran up the coast for Libby canning. We’ve chickens, kittens and a parrot or two. The neighbors walk on our quiet street, the noisiest thing is them talking story on their cell phones, then it’s quiet again. No horns honking, no speeding cars on our quiet cul de sac. That craziness is left in the city where it belongs…

“I have traveled the whole  country and I have literally never seen anything as beautiful.  Driving distance to Honolulu and yet in the country side made it the most enjoyable stay I have ever had.”  -Paul
